Welcome to ForJoy Dancers
ForJoy Dancers is a Grand Rapids-based non-profit organization specializing in studying, performing and teaching Middle Eastern Dance styles. We believe that dance is for everyone, regardless of age, size, gender, ability, or income. Whether you've been dancing for years or have never taken a dance class in your life, you are welcome here. We provide a safe and inclusive environment for everyone to learn about Middle Eastern music, culture, and dance in a joyful setting.

Rumba with Darren Pierson
If you want to try ballroom dance, learn some Rumba footwork and Latin dance moves, or get inspiration for fusing Latin dance with Belly Dance, this workshop is for you! You don't need a partner for this class where Darren will go through basic Rumba footwork and Cuban motions present in all forms of Latin dance.

Funk-a-Licious Technique and Choreography
Welcome spring with a light-hearted fusion choreography. We'll focus on the technique and bring on the funk! If you love it, there will be performance opportunities coming up in May!
